I have given a lifetime of dedication to my craft as a guitarist. Initially inspired by my Dad's love of music and guitar, I took up the instrument at the age of five and have developed into a professional working guitar player & Educator, both in the studio and performing live.
I was raised in Yorkshire on a diet of Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles and much more. Studying under the acclaimed guitarist Tom Quayle , I learnt the ins and outs of guitar playing and what it means to be a musician. Touring all over Europe from a young age in various bands playing venues all across the UK and Europe. Here I learnt how to perform as a guitar player.
Initially interested in rock players such as Jimmy page & Jimi Hendrix, I later branched out into many different styles of guitar; from acoustic players like Leo Kottke and Bert Jansch to Jazz Fusion players like John Mclaughlin & Larry Coryell, my influences are spread wide across all different types of music. I continue to perform in a number of groups and I love playing guitar more than ever.
When I'm not making music I enjoy hanging out with my partner and newborn daughter, going on long walks and cooking!
